"This Thirst is a beautiful poem about "the primal thirst for something holy, sacred, and divine -- beyond the commerce and conditions of daily life."--

and the many lessons learned from the richness of her life...
Lori was a joyful teacher to so many. She lived life amazingly fully, always there for fun, love, serenity and laughter. Though hardly what I think of as a hedonist (though Lori had a strong streak of that), she was deeply connected to Spirit and to love.
Lori's heart was never closed. Far from rich in later years, her life was truly one of abundance in what matters, rich in soul and spirit, friendship, love and laughter, and she asked for nothing more. The woman was vibrantly alive, and younger truly than her youngest friends. Her example could have put to shame the best of us, eking out our meager lives. But Lori wasn't like that. She was a judge to no one.
Lori was one of the most open, ready, loving hearts that I have ever known.
I can see you now, my friend, happy, joyous, free and soaring mightily through all the worlds of Soul...
Thanks again, my dear beloved friend and teacher.
