  For a Better World

          Remember the story that went around about the fellow who died and ended up in purgatory? He and all the people there had no hands or arms, and how hellish that was for them. But then, given a glimpse of Heaven, he saw that the people there had the exact same physical makeup! But there was one difference-- in heaven the people were feeding and caring for each other instead of fighting and scrabbling for themselves.

       A virtuous world... 

             now that would be heaven-sent.  Love and kindness can make any hardship bearable.
 A place of virtue, trust and love is joy. But a  dog- eat - dog world like you see in places, to me 
  is the source of most of the pain of the world. People who have misunderstood themselves as
  spiritual beings have, I believe, been the cause of most of the pain of life.
            
                        Values of virtue could make our world a paradise.

      

   Is there a better way?
 It begins one heart at a time, unravelling
 who we really are and meeting the needs   
 of soul which include the practice of the
  beautiful angelic virtues.

We are Spirit,
     Our hearts crave the ways of virtue...

But people have to want that, and that
 comes by realizing who we really are.

We are Spirit, craving connection with    
    Something Greater than life.

 We are so greatly nourished when we  
       do what is good. 

 
       When our hands are clean of selfish ways, we feel good inside.
